Ambient Light Transducer
The ambient light transducer is a revolutionary new concept in
proportional light level monotoring and control.
It provides an analogue output proportional to light measured in lux.
This light level output can be used by any system to turn lights on or
off to maintain an ambient light level setpoint.
The transducer incoparates a 100% solid state silicon planar
diffussed photovoltiac cell which directly converts light energy into
a very small electrical current.
This small current change is used by a state-of-the art integrated
circuit signal conditioned to provide a linear, proportional,
temperature compensated output in numerous forms to be compatible to all
building automation systems.
The transducer is available in a tasteful, aesthetically appealing
indoor enclosure or a rugged glass-fibre outdoor unit with
remote electronics.
It is an ideal transducer to monitor and proportionally control light
level in offices, warehouses, laboratories, greenhouses, parking lots
and other light sensitive applications.
