Pedulum Vane Anemometer
Application
The WSP vane anemometer is used to sense and monitor wind speed, for
instance on mobile cranes. Its purpose is to protect human health and
safety, as well as the equipment. Functional
description
The WSP delivers a 4/18 mA signal pulse. The signal is evaluated by the
machine's electronics. The signal is looped into the LSB* through the
bus coupler and transmitted to the evaluation unit in the operators's
cab.
The unit is attached to the crane's boom.
The sensor is pivot-mounted, enabling it to
remain upright at boom positions from 0 to 85 degrees.
